The working principle of the cutter suction dredger is mainly to crush the seabed mud through the auger on the dredger, and then the powerful dredging pump transports the mud and sand mixture to the designated location through the mud discharge pipe. In this process, the dredger demonstrated its excellent digging and transportation capabilities. For example, SINOSAIL 8inch cutter suction dredger is 16meters long and 4.77meters wide. The total installed power reaches 298kilowatts, the designed dredging capacity is500 cubic meters per hour, and the maximum dredging depth can reach 6 meters. Its powerful cutter head power is 37 kilowatts, which can handle silt and clay.
